Kamiros Scala, small fishing harbor Driving along the coast road, you'll pass several beaches and some Tavernas, serving delicious Greek food and fish specialties. You'll pass the Hamet of Mandriko before you reach, in about 10 kilometers distance from ancient Kamiros, the small harbor, called Kamiros Skala. The area was inhabitant from ancient times. A partially finished facade of a Lycian tomb and an early Christian Basilica, decorated with beautiful mosaics, which stood near the pebbled beach, were destroyed completely, by the waves. Very early in the morning you can see the fishermen with their catches, coming in the harbor. From here you have the possibility to travel by boat to Chalki.
