Kremasti village on the east coast of Rhodes island Kremasti is a large and lively village. It's famous for housing the largest church on the Island. The village is the scene for a major religious and social event. Between August 14 and 23 each year, when the feast days of the church of the Dormition of the Virgin, which stands on the right as we enter the village, are celebrated. Kremasti itself, is a quite resort. The main street is the centre of attraction, with it's small shops, tavernas, cafes, bars and clubs. The pebbled beach from Kremasti is well organized.
